Under Eye Surgery

The official term for under eye bags correction surgery is "blepharoplasty", and is a procedure offered only to patients of a stable mental health and of a certain age range. This could have developed prematurely depending upon the state of their lifestyle and stress levels, in which case some procedures are offered to those below the age range. Under eye bags correction surgery works by removing excess fatty tissues or weakened muscle build up around the eyes. These help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles around the eyes and also help to make the face appear younger.

The recovery period after the procedure depends upon the individual i.e. how fast they heal. However, it is recommended that patients take at least four to seven days rest at which point the stitches will be removed. There is bruising and tenderness around the area, which is only temporary but the eyes generally heal within a month. In order to avoid discomfort when looking towards brighter areas, patients are given dark glasses to prevent them from working the eye too much.

By removing the excess tissues, the skin should appear taut and smooth, which helps to reduce the appearance of aging. The affects could last for years, preventing further aging around the eyes. This will stop further premature aging around the eyes and will help in keeping the eyes appear younger for longer. No more under eye bags!
